I’m new to phpfox and only came aboard with it about 3-4 weeks ago. In this time I’ve modified a custom design to my needs and then quickly setup fox with little to no problems. Everything has been great. So now to one of the big tasks; integrate phpbb and coppermine. With the assistance of a developer, everything was up within a few hours and it’s working great. Honestly, it’s exceed my expectations and I’ve been a joomla diehard for some time.
PHPFox offers the abiliy to rent the software on ANY server but with limited upgrades for $39.99 or purchase full for $300. I havent spoke to support directly but I recieved a timly response to my e-mails.
PhpFox has been around for a while now, and is getting better, although their license tracking is not the greatest, ugh. I found their support to be helpful at times, but NEVER non-existent. phpFox is a great STARTING point.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT GETTING A SOCIAL SCRIPT DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO WITH phpfox
i havent installed any of the other programs, but i checked out alll the demos on the various sites, and phpFox impressed me the most and the delivered on all their promises and their customer support is on point
In the end I chose phpfox, because phpfox has a good forum and the support team is very active helping the members. Coming soon is the phpfox v2, currently in beta testing, looks promising with lots of new features.
phpFox is not that great, I would not buy it personaly, I bought it for a client who was too impatient to wait for a better script and I needed to justify the $800 web design fee, but if you take a good look at the code (for the coders out there) you will see that it’s very messy and the structure is horrible, what does that translate to you, the admin?
I use phpfox for my website and it’s very good never had a problem with them and their hosting is very good aswell
I have used phpfox and they have great support and they are always upgraded, I would recommend them!
